Redesign at the CORE
The Georgia Center for Oncology Research and Education (CORE) is a non-profit organization working to improve cancer care in Georgia by strengthening clinical research throughout the state. The most recent phase of Georgia CORE’s growth plan was to launch a new website, rich with content for doctors and lay people, which would project the same level of professionalism and expertise as the organization itself. Georgia CORE, already a client with several web-based applications built by Peachtree Solutions, partnered with us to create this new online presence.
One of the goals of the site is to connect cancer patients with clinical trials. By writing an application to access, aggregate and deliver the appropriate data from a public source, we saved Georgia CORE significant monthly subscription fees, which they had been paying for years. Plus, we integrated both custom and off-the-shelf content management tools so the Georgia CORE staff can manage every dynamic aspect of the site.
We are happy to report that the new website has garnered statewide and national attention in the oncology community and has helped Georgia CORE take a giant leap forward in their mission.
