As part of the recent redesign and launch of the Enfamil website, Mead Johnson
Nutritionals (MJN) wanted to integrate a calendar and reminder system which
would help educate mothers and mothers-to-be about critical milestones and
action items during their baby's development.
Goals:
Provide mothers an interactive calendar and reminder system to track their
baby's development
Provide helpful pre-populated events and reminders based on the expected due
date or birth date of their baby
Provide special content for premature babies
Provide a seamless login and browsing experience for their users
Allow users to update calendar preferences on the Enfamil website or the
calendar website
Respond quickly and sensitively if a mother should lose her baby
Capitalize on marketing opportunities for Mead Johnson Nutritional products
Solution: Implement the Peachtree Solutions Online Calendar &
Reminder System product with a custom integration module that:
allows for real-time automatic XML-based synchronization and login with the
master Enfamil database
executes a nightly database synchronization between the Enfamil and
calendar websites
pre-populates events on the calendar based on due date / birth date information
entered on the Enfamil website
at the mother's request, generates reminder emails for both pre-populated
events as well as events added by the mother
allows MJN to present time sensitive and develoment-cycle sensitive, targeted
information and product offers to opt-in mothers
is hosted on the Peachtree Solutions' servers
Bottom Line: Mead Johnson Nutritionals was able to quickly and
seamlessly provide a valuable tool to mothers without additional administrative
overhead, while also creating a new marketing vehicle for their Enfamil product
line.
